Milan Bold Chair with Plywood Back and Back Cushion

Construction

Backrest: Made of 9/16” thick laminated hardwood veneer (11-ply) with a 35° varnish finish and has a ½” foam cushion (Density: 2.5 lb; Compression: 25 lb.) glued to 1/8” thick plywood. Mounted to the seat with 4 metal brackets in a metal-on-metal assembly.

Seat: Made of ½” thick molded multi-ply plywood (7-ply), covered with 2” of foam (Density: 2.5 lb; Compression: 40 lb.) and ½” of polyester.

Leg Base: Consists of four 16” high straight legs and a 7/8” yellow birch cross piece with a 35° varnish finish. Assembled with mortise-and-tenon joints and glued. The leg base is mounted to the seat in a metal-on-metal assembly.

Cushion: Covered with single top stitching.

Finishes

Customers can choose an upholstery or vinyl from the supplier of their choice. Choice of 12 wood stains.
