Milan Chair with Upholstered Back

Construction

Backrest:

Made of ½” thick multi-ply plywood (7-ply) and covered with 1” foam (Density: 2.5 lb; Compression: 25 lb.) glued to 1/8” thick plywood.Mounted to the seat with 4 metal brackets in a metal-on-metal assembly.

Seat:
Made of ½” thick molded multi-ply plywood (7-ply). Covered with 2” of foam (Density: 2.5 lb; Compression: 40 lb.) and ½” of polyester.

Leg Base:

Consists of four 16” high straight legs and a yellow birch cross piece with a 35° varnish finish. Assembled with mortise-and-tenon joints and glued. Mounted to the seat in a metal-on-metal assembly.

Cushion:

Covered with single top stitching.

Finishes:

• Customers can choose an upholstery or vinyl from the supplier of their choice.
• Choice of 12 wood stains.
