Commercial Furniture Delivery & Installation

Commercial furniture arrives as freight, not finished rooms. We receive, inspect, deliver, assemble, and install to manufacturer spec, then haul the packaging out and walk the punch list. Your team shows up to a finished floor.

What It Is

The last mile is where projects succeed or stall.

Delivery and installation covers everything between the truck and the finished space: receiving freight, inspecting for damage, staging, delivering to floor, assembling to manufacturer spec, leveling, debris removal, and punch list. Panel systems, benching, and architectural products are built to be installed by crews who do it daily.

Labor follows conditions. Product mix, building access, elevators, occupied floors, and schedule all change the hours, so we quote per project and survey the site up front. Install day runs like it was planned because it was.

Why This Is Quoted

No two projects price the same.

Installation labor is honest math: product, conditions, and schedule. Here's what sets it.

01
Product mix & volumeWorkstation systems take multiples of the labor that chairs and tables do.
02
Building accessDocks, freight elevators, and path-of-travel set the pace of everything.
03
Floor count & distanceWhere product lands relative to where it enters drives handling time.
04
Occupied vs. vacantWorking around people adds protection, care, and schedule constraints.
05
After-hours requirementsNights and weekends carry labor premiums. Planned, not surprised.
06
Receiving & storage needsStaggered freight often needs warehousing between arrival and install.
07
Site readinessFloors, power, and construction status decide whether install runs once or twice.
08
Punch list scopeComplex products and large counts carry proportional closeout time.

Delivery & Installation

We install, clean up, walk the punch list, and stay accountable for what we built.

Worth Thinking Through

What makes install day boring, in the best way.

Site readiness is the schedule

Furniture installed before floors, paint, and power are done gets installed twice. We verify readiness honestly and hold product in our warehouse when the site slips.

Buildings have rules

Certificates of insurance, elevator reservations, dock windows, union requirements. We handle building coordination as part of the job, not as your homework.

Inspect at receiving, not at install

Damage found on install day blows the schedule. We open, inspect, and claim at receiving so replacements are moving before anyone notices.

Power-up is part of installation

Powered workstations and height-adjustable product need electrical coordination. We sequence with your electrician so day one means working, not waiting.

Who Does the Work

This is our home turf: our own crews, our own warehouse, and years of commercial installations. Manufacturer installation standards set the spec; our people set the standard for how it goes in.

Questions We Hear

Delivery & Installation FAQ

How much does furniture installation cost?+
Labor is quoted from the product list and site conditions. Workstation systems, building access, and after-hours needs are the big variables. Send the product list and building details and we'll quote it quickly.
Do you install furniture we bought somewhere else?+
Case by case, yes. Installation-only work is common. We'll want the product list and drawings, and we're straight with you about what we can warranty on product we didn't supply.
Can you install after hours or on weekends?+
Routinely. Occupied buildings often require it, and we plan the premium into the quote up front rather than discovering it later.
What happens if something arrives damaged?+
We catch it at receiving, document it, file the freight or manufacturer claim, and get the replacement moving, usually before install day. That's a core reason receiving through us pays off.
Do you take away the packaging?+
Always. Debris removal is part of the service. You get a finished floor, not a cardboard mountain.
How far do you travel?+
We're based in Upstate NY, with Binghamton, Vestal, and the Southern Tier as home territory, and we support multi-site projects nationwide with planned logistics.
