What It Is

The difference between furnished and finished.

Millwork is architectural woodwork built for one space. A reception desk shaped to your lobby, a veneer wall in the boardroom, built-in credenzas and banquettes finished to hospitality standards. It tells people the space is permanent before anyone says a word.

There is no catalog. Materials, dimensions, lighting, and site conditions all shape the drawings and the number. We field-measure, produce shop drawings, manage fabrication, and install with the finish quality the material deserves.

The palette we design with.

Material and detail define millwork. Most projects combine several of these directions, customized per design.

Linear plank wood veneer wall

Wood Veneer Work

Book-matched and sequenced veneers for feature walls, desks, and panels. The signature millwork material.

Custom reception desk and built-in millwork

Reception Desks & Built-Ins

Custom transaction desks, credenzas, and display walls with integrated power and ADA counters.

Linear rib wood feature wall

Feature & Cladding Walls

Wood, slat, and mixed-material wall treatments that anchor a space.

Modular wall cladding with mixed materials

Mixed Materials

Wood with metal, stone, glass, and backlighting, detailed and engineered together.

Linear flow wood wall with integrated detailing

Brand & Lighting Integration

Logos, signage, and LED detail built into the millwork rather than added after.

Routed acoustic slat wall treatment

Acoustic Timber & Slat Walls

Slatted and routed treatments for feature walls that also need to control noise.

Why This Is Quoted

No two projects price the same.

Custom work is priced from drawings, not square footage rules. These are the drivers, and we verify them before pricing.

01
Design complexityCurves, reveals, and integrated details take engineering and fabrication time.
02
MaterialsVeneer species, solid wood, laminate, and stone accents span wide cost ranges.
03
DimensionsSize drives material volume, shipping sections, and installation hours.
04
Lighting & power integrationLED details, outlets, and AV coordination add trades and precision.
05
Finish levelHospitality-grade finishing is a different spec than utility casework.
06
Site conditionsWalls, floors, and access get field-verified before fabrication.
07
Freight & handlingFinished millwork ships protected, sometimes in engineered sections.
08
Installation sequenceMillwork installs late and clean. Sequencing with other trades matters.

Our team installs, details, and finishes, then walks every surface with you.

Worth Thinking Through

Settle these before fabrication starts.

Design to a budget range early

The same desk in laminate, veneer, or solid wood is three different quotes. Set the range first so design effort stays pointed at buildable options.

Veneer decisions are visual decisions

Species, cut, and matching change the character of a wall more than any other choice. We present physical samples, not just renderings, before you commit.

Put power and AV in the drawings

Outlets, displays, and lighting decided after fabrication mean holes in finished work. Everything electrical lives in the shop drawings.

Millwork, casework, or both

Back-of-house rooms usually call for commercial casework: durable and lower cost. We sell both, so you get the honest recommendation.

Manufacturer Partners & Inspiration

Our millwork draws on the fabrication standards of leading contract woodwork manufacturers. Their craft, our design, field measurement, coordination, and installation.

Questions We Hear

Millwork FAQ

How much does custom millwork cost?+
Design complexity, materials, and size drive it. The same footprint quotes very differently in laminate versus book-matched veneer, which is why we quote from drawings. Share reference images and rough dimensions and we'll give you a realistic range before design begins.
How long does a millwork project take?+
Design and shop drawings, then fabrication, then installation. Fabrication lead time is the long pole. We confirm it at quote and schedule around your other trades.
Can millwork be installed in an occupied space?+
Yes. Millwork installation is clean, late-sequence work. We protect the space and can phase or work after hours where the area is in use.
Do you handle design, or do we need an architect?+
Either. We design from your intent and reference images, or fabricate from your architect's drawings. In both cases we coordinate shop drawings with the design team.
Do you install what you fabricate?+
Yes. Installation quality is where millwork succeeds or fails, so our team handles delivery, install, detailing, and punch list.
What do you need to start?+
The space, reference images or design intent, rough dimensions, and a budget range. We take it from concept to installed.
